I am a final-year BTech Software Engineering student at Landmark Metropolitan University Institute (LMUI) in Buea, Cameroon, writing to apply for the IT/Software Development internship.
Over the course of my studies and independent projects, I have built practical, hands-on experience across the full stack. I developed Digital Memory Reconstruction Engine (DMRE), a semantic search system that combines Sentence-BERT embeddings, vector storage in ChromaDB, and XGBoost re-ranking to retrieve information by intent rather than keywords, with a blockchain layer via Ganache to safeguard record integrity. I have also built production-grade REST APIs with Node.js and Express using three-tier architecture and strict schema validation, and deployed a cross-platform Flutter task management app.
My experience building REST APIs with strict schema validation and managing SQL/PostgreSQL databases would translate well to supporting internal systems for customer data, supply tracking, or operational reporting.
I am fluent in English and competent in French, comfortable working independently or within a team, and eager to bring my technical skills to continuing to grow as an engineer. I have attached my CV for your review and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team.
